Your Privacy and Security is Important

We at New Day Financial – Mortgage Architects (MA) are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy and security. MA has taken all reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information gathered through our www.bc-mortgage-broker.ca website (the Site) and to protect your data from misuse and unauthorized access or disclosure. MA exercises care in providing secure transmission of your information from your computer to our servers.

Statistical Information

Your personal information that is gathered through the Site will not be sold to third parties without your approval, provided that MA reserves the right to and may disclose such personal information: (a) to its affiliates, subsidiaries and third party agents for purposes related to providing services associated with the Site or the promotion or advertisement of MA, MA franchisees or their respective wares and services; or (b) if such disclosure is made pursuant to a requirement or request of a government agency, subpoena or other legal proceeding or otherwise required by law.

MA uses information gathered through the Site for the purposes of:

  • including each user’s personal information on MA’s databases and on MA’s mailing list in order to provide users with updates and invitations to upcoming events that may be of interest to each user;
  • responding to any specific requests you may make;
  • understanding how the Site is being used and to improve the Site
  • using such information in connection with the marketing initiatives of MA or of MA franchisees.

Removal Of Personal Information

You can request that we delete all your personal information submitted by you through the Site from our database by providing detailed instructions to MA’s Privacy Officer. Upon your request, MA will delete all electronically stored personal information you have submitted through the Site. Please note that MA is not responsible for and cannot delete personal information from the systems or files of franchisees or other organizations such as financial institutions, credit reporting agencies, or real estate brokers that have subsequently been sent your personal information by franchisees. Please allow two weeks for processing of deletion requests.

Natural Limits of Security

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, MA cannot and does not ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and any information you do transmit to us via the Internet is done at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, MA uses industry-accepted efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your information, such as firewalls, secure socket layers as well as unique user name and password protections.
